Object Tracing Security
Object Tracing Security: the technology
Object Tracing Security connects observation, sensor information and governance into one traceable information chain. This page describes the building blocks and principles: concepts and areas of attention, not an off-the-shelf product.
The information chain
Drone, sensor, communication, platform, data, user, organisation: every link must be traceable and secured. A chain is only as reliable as its weakest link.
Observation
Scheduled and event-driven flights, sensor data and condition recording, with strategically placed drone stations as fixed operational points. The goal is not just flight data, but usable inspection information.
Provenance and integrity of information
- Controlled access and data minimisation.
- Secure storage, logging and integrity.
- Traceability across the entire chain: where information comes from and what has happened to it.
Governance and auditability
Who has access, to which data, how it is controlled, how it can be traced: these questions are central from the very first design decision. The governance and evidence standard of QWASP Audit makes the approach auditable.
Security by design
Within OBTRASEC, security and governance are not seen as afterthoughts, but as part of the design.
